Just a quick update , anthm @ freeswitch.org has fixed the bug in freeswitch that was preventing the switch to register with Wateen’s gateway. So , go , grab the latest freeswitch code from svn and compile. Here are the settings for your sip_profile

<gateway name=”wateen.net”>
<param name=”username” value=&#

8221;021XXXXXX”/>
<param name=”auth-username” value=”021XXXXXX@wateen.net”/>
<param name=”password” value=””/>
<param name=”register-proxy” value=”sip:58.27.240.22:9060″/>
<param name=”register” value=”true”/>
</gateway>

🙂 Have fun! and drop a comment if this post was helpful.

    Dear sir
    i m new in freeswitch can anyone tell me how to install freeswitch in windows XP
    i have done this procedure

    Simple Checkout – Windows
    In Windows we recommend an SVN client, such as TortoiseSVN.
    Once TortoiseSVN is installed, follow these simple steps:

    Open the Windows Explorer
    Navigate to an appropriate folder (like My Documents)
    Create a new folder named “FreeSWITCH”
    Right-click the “FreeSWITCH” folder and click on “SVN Checkout”
    The SVN repo is http://svn.freeswitch.org/svn/freeswitch/trunk
    The checkout will take several minutes…
    Once the checkout is complete then use one of the solution files:

    Freeswitch.2008.sln – MS Visual Studio 2008 solution file
    Freeswitch.2008.express.sln – MS Visual C++ Express Edition solution file

    now tell me wat sshould i do next to run free switch
    do i need to install MS Visual Studio 2008
    for running free switch ????????

    tell me after doing above steps wat do i need to do to run freeswitch
    ???
    i want to configure wateen and mobilink infinity sip accounts for terminating my calls which is comming from my softswitch

    please help me
    waiting for response
